Legal guarantee
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 ("Consumer Code"), all products on sale on this site are covered by the 12-month legal guarantee with the issue of an electronic invoice or 24 months with the issue of a tax receipt (subject to different communication of the manufacturer possibly indicated in the product sheet). Based on the Legal Guarantee of 12 months with Electronic Invoice or 24 months with Tax Receipt, merzi.it srl is responsible towards the consumer (the natural person acting for purposes unrelated to any entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal or professional activity carried out) for defects of conformity not detectable at the time of purchase. The lack of conformity exists when the product is not suitable for the use for which it is usually intended, does not conform to the description or does not possess the qualities promised by the seller, does not offer the usual qualities and performances of a good of the same type, does not it is suitable for the particular use desired by the consumer if brought to the attention of the seller at the time of purchase and accepted by the seller (art. 129 of the Consumer Code). The lack of conformity that occurs within 12/24 months from the date of purchase of the goods must be reported within the following 2 months from the date of discovery of the defect. Unless proven otherwise, it is presumed that defects of conformity which appear within 6 months of delivery of the goods already existed on that date. In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to have the conformity of the goods restored, without charge, by repair or replacement (art. 130 of the Consumer Code). The consumer can ask the seller, at his choice, to repair the good or replace it, without costs in both cases, unless the requested remedy is objectively impossible or excessively onerous compared to the other. Repairs or replacements must be carried out within a reasonable period of time from the Consumer's request; the average time for returning the product to the Consumer is 24 days. If within the maximum period of 60 days merzi.it srl is unable to return the repaired product, the consumer may request one of the alternative remedies (replacement, termination of the contract, price reduction).
Times and methods of exercising the Legal Guarantee in the event of defective products
The Customer must:
- within 14 days of receiving the goods, send a written communication to merzi.it srl - viale Europa 2/a 37023 Grezzana (VR) for convenience, the "Contact us" section of the site can alternatively be used;
- wait for the authorization of the change procedure which will be communicated by merzi.it srl by email;
- prepare the product for shipping by carefully packing it in the original packaging, including all accessories, the instruction manual and everything originally contained in the product packaging.
The transporter will contact the Customer to arrange collection of the product (the Customer's unavailability by telephone will delay the collection of the product). merzi.it Srl, if possible, will send the product for any repairs to the Technical Assistance Center authorized by the manufacturer itself (CAT) and/or will replace it with a new product. After 14 days. Shipping costs are charged to the customer.
NB: in the case of a refund for an incorrect/damaged item, it is necessary and essential that the invoice/receipt is inserted inside an envelope which must reach us with the package. In the absence of the invoice/receipt, no refund will be issued.

Risk and Ownership
Upon delivery of the goods, the customer must verify the integrity of the packages and the quantitative and qualitative correspondence with what is indicated in the accompanying document (invoice/receipt). Orders
Orders are accepted only via the Internet (online) or via email. Right of withdrawal
The user who holds the status of consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded with merzi.it srl, without having to incur costs other than those indicated in this article and without having to specify the reason, within fourteen (14) calendar days (Period of Withdrawal). The Withdrawal Period expires after 14 days: • in the case of an order relating to a single Product, from the day on which the user or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by the user, acquires physical possession of the Product; • in the case of a Multiple Order with separate deliveries, from the day on which the user or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by the user, acquires physical possession of the last Product; or • in the case of an order relating to the delivery of a Product consisting of multiple lots or pieces, from the day on which the user or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by the user, acquires physical possession of the last lot or piece . The return of the Product to merzi.it srl takes place under the responsibility of the user; the Product is considered returned when it is delivered to the carrier. If the user has used a discount code for the purchase of the Product for which he has exercised the right of withdrawal, the refund will be made only with reference to the sum of money actually spent by the user, and not also with regard to the value of the discount code. If the user withdraws from the contract, merzi.it srl will refund the Total Amount Due paid by the user for the Product, including delivery costs, if applicable, without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which merzi.it srl was informed of the user's decision to withdraw from the contract.
